Senior Procurement Agent

The Senior Procurement Agent is a member of the Purchasing team and reports directly to the Assistant Purchasing Director. The Senior Procurement Agent is responsible for managing a variety of strategic initiatives and ensuring compliance with public procurement policies. Purchase goods, materials, and services to ensure that the District’s operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality, and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply. This role has greater responsibility and accountability than a Procurement Agent and includes directional responsibility. The Senior Procurement Agent will be responsible for solicitations that hold a larger remit in terms of purchasing responsibility. Performs professional, technical, and administrative work, directly responsible for all operations concerned with Solicitations, such as but not limited to high value and complex solicitations of contracts of varying terms involving the procurement of contractual services, professional consultants, supplies, equipment, materials, and services required by District Departments and in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.   See job posting for more details.
