Procurement Manager

An employee in this class, under general direction, serves as the Purchasing Department's procurement manager. Work is of considerable difficulty, requiring the exercise of considerable initiative and independent judgment in directing the buying section for goods and service. Work is reviewed through observation, reports, periodic conferences, and results achieved. Appointed position; employee serves at the pleasure of the Mayor.
