Senior Procurement Specialist

The City of Fort Myers is hiring a Senior Procurement Specialist to support complex procurement and contract management activities under the direction of the Procurement Manager.

This position is responsible for developing and managing solicitations, leading contract negotiations, assembling contract documents, preparing City Council agenda items, and ensuring compliance with City policies and Florida Statutes. The role includes a strong emphasis on contract lifecycle management, vendor relations, and process improvement. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of public procurement experience, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to ethical standards. NIGP-CPP or CPPB certification is required (or must be obtained within 24 months).
