To develop, implement plans and structures within the Procurement department to ensure cost effective purchases of goods and services. Directly manage support staff to make sure districts goals and objectives are met at minimal cost.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, public administration, or related field from an accredited institution.
Five (5) years of experience in an administrative, supervisory, technical, or professional position in procurement, which includes two (2) years of supervisory experience in a Procurement office. Public procurement experience is preferred.
Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB), Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO), or NIGP Certified Procurement Professional (NIGP-CPP) preferred.
SAP and Ariba experience preferred, but related Procurement database experience is highly desirable.
