We're Hiring: Procurement Analyst

Join our team as a Procurement Analyst and play an important role in supporting the City’s procurement operations while helping ensure transparency, efficiency, and accountability in the use of public resources.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive professional to provide administrative and analytical support to the Procurement Manager, with a strong emphasis on contract administration. This position offers considerable independence and the opportunity to take ownership of assignments, improve processes, and contribute to the City's commitment to excellence in public service.

Position Details

  • Reports to: Procurement Manager

  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Focus: Administrative and analytical support, with an emphasis on contract administration.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business with major course work in procurement, inventory control or closely related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.  

Professional certification as Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) or NIGP Certified Procurement Professional (NIGP-CPP) required at a minimum.  

Five years of professional experience in Procurement. 

Contract experience required, with a thorough knowledge of public procurement as it relates to the contract solicitation process, contract development and contract administration. 

Must possess and maintain a valid state Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving history.
